Tsunami Mayhem

They're saying the tsunami death toll may top 100,000. That's 30 times the deaths from 9/11 - so far. This is easily the worst tragedy I've lived through--it's absolutely horrific.

I gave some money to the Red Cross in Asia via Amazon.com this morning, and I recommend that you do too.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it is "easily" the worst tragedy of our generation. In one 100 day spand in 1994 Rwandan Hutus massacred close to 1 millions Tutsis.
The figures vary but the accepted number is somewhere in the range of 937,000 dead. So...maybe the worst natural disaster, but likely not the biggest tragedy
