Dream Game

As alluded to in a comment in the previous post, yesterday the Redskins annihilated the Cowboys 35-7. It was one of those games that I haven't experienced in years, in which every single thing went our (Redskins) way, the other team turned it over (not us!), all the penalties were on the other team for once, and we even got seven sacks on Leadfoot Bledsoe!

I definitely don't care about the Skins as much as I used to (they should change the racist name for starters) but beating the stuffing out of Dallas and pretty much eliminating them from the playoff race is a fantastic start to Christmas week.

I should have sold you the DVD of that game before I eliminated it from my DVR last night.

People here aren't necessarily angry b/c we were clobbered by the skins, but b/c it happened in a game that was so important. How do you not even show up to play in a game that could make or break your post-season aspirations?

It started last year, and it is really loud now: everyone hates Parcells and thinks he is burying this team by siging old peeps (i.e. Testaverde, Bledsoe, Eddie George, Keyshawn, etc...) to win a few games today rather than signing young guys to build a team that will be good for years.

The Tuna sure didn't look very gutsy. Why wasn't he pulling out the stops, going for long passes, etc? I couldn't believe it when they lined up to punt in the third quarter. Gutless.

It sure is nice to make the rivalry a little less one-sided for once...
